This colourful cotton padded coin purse makes an ideal stocking filler gift. Hand-embroidered with appliqué, bead and sequin detail by women in remote areas of Bangladesh. With unbleached cotton lining and tasselled zip pull fastening. Available in Blue with turqouise edging and tassle or Mauve with red edging and tassle. Made in Bangladesh by Swajan.

Fair Trade Producer Details Swajan creates handmade paper using traditional techniques in appliqué, embroidery, patchwork and mirror work. The majority of producers (over 500) are women. Swajan aims to provide high-quality Bangladeshi handicrafts, which can compete in the global marketplace, and to improve the quality of life of its producers in poor urban areas and remote villages.
