15" (38cm) Elephant Design Carved Round Table.
From India these are beautiful items. Hand carved (so no two are the same) from solid mahogany (or similar) and lightly waxed to bring out the grain. They are 2cm thick so are reasonably heavy, and have three carved feet which are hinged together and lock into a guide fitted onto the base of the top. Allthough flat-packed there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of regarding assembly, once assembled (5 seconds ?) it makes a sturdy occasional table. (They have obviously been assembled after they were made and any adjustments made as each table and leg pack is unique, snug fitting and numbered)
