Fair Trade Recycled Tin, Bi Plane.
This model of a tin bi plane demonstrates the ingeniousness of the South African craftsman with the use of old scraps of wire and scrap aluminium drink cans. Made from steel wire and long thin different coloured strips of recycled aluminum soda cans, this biplane would liven up any room. The propeller turns by cranking a handle in the tail and the wheels also turn, plus it has a hook for hanging. The plane measures 9½" in length and 4.5 inches in height with a 7" wingspan.
