Fair Trade Textile - Toran with Birds.

 

This delightful toran can be hung above a doorway or anywhere in your home, with small stuffed textile birds and beads dangling down. They have two stout hanging loops, one at each end and the cloth varies from that shown in the picture with a range of different colours and designs. Each item is bagged in the country of origin so it's impossible to know what colour they each are - It will be a pleasant surprise! They are approx: 87cm (34") Long x 11cm (4¼") Deep the birds and beads hanging a further 11cm (4¼") below that (making 22cm overall). A 'Toran' is a gate prepared for special visitors or a door hanging made from plain cotton weave with embroidery and mirror work or beads.
