We scource items from around the world, many of them unique to us. Everything we sell is tried and tested and the majority of items are used by us or our friends. Everything on these pages is for Immediate dispatch. Much of the content on this site is determined by you, the users. If there are any items from our suppliers that you would like us to stock, please use the "Contact Us" form and we will do our best.
Our Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and we comply with the data protection laws applicable to the UK. This Privacy Policy outlines how your personal information is treated and forms part of our Terms and Conditions. (We may occasionally modify our Privacy Policy; when this happens we will notify you via our Terms and Conditions page).
We do NOT sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
We do NOT store, or intend to store in the future, financial details (credit or debit card numbers).
What information do we collect?
When you order: We need to know your name, e-mail address and delivery address and credit/debit card number and expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your order, carry out credit checking and notify you of your order status. We also ask you for your telephone number(s) so that we can contact you easily if required (our carriers insist on this for safe delivery).
When applying for a Credit Account: Before accepting or despatching your order we may use the information we have about you ourselves and/or carry out a search using a licensed credit reference agency, who will record it.
In addition we collect your email address and name if you wish to sign-up for the newsletter, and further details as you submit them for use on the site only.
How do we use your information?
Any personal data relating to you will be used and recorded by us in accordance with current data protection legislation and this Privacy Policy. We use the information collected from you to process orders and to provide a more personalised shopping experience. We may use your personal information to communicate with you about your order, for record keeping purposes, to track activity on our site, to publish trends and/or to improve usefulness and content.
In Addition:
If you have opted to receive our newsletter then we may send you offers for goods or services from our company or others from time to time which we think you may find of interest. If you do not wish to receive this information, please let us know by e-mailing us at optout@carhamptonemart.co.uk, or by directly amending your account on the site.
 Our Buying Policies: We carefully select everything we sell on this site. We try to sell leading brands and we thoroughly check every consignment before any items are offered for sale. All of our items are always available (according to the suppliers) so, if an item is out of stock, we can re-order and dispatch within 14 days. Please remember, with us you always have full consumer rights. We will always replace damaged or faulty items.  
Shipping:On Larger items we will dispatch by either FedEx Express or Parcel Force, whichever gives the better price &/or service for that particular parcel/destination. Both will collect from our premises in the afternoon (weekdays) and both offer a next working day delivery and an economy 2/3 working day delivery service.
On smaller items we will use Royal Mail. We dispatch Monday to Friday around 1500hrs, orders placed after 12.00 am will be dispatched the next working day. We always obtain a "Certificate of Posting" receipt from Royal Mail, which is as good as Insurance for the first £39 in value, for more valuable items we'll get a quote for Insurance. All FedEx parcels are insured for their full value.
Returns:Returns will be accepted if returned within 14 days. Everything is sold in utmost good faith. if you are dissatisfied in anyway please contact us so that your dispute can be settled. If, once you get it, you really don't want the item you can send it back, in it's original pack, securely wrapped (at your expense) and we'll refund your money. For your Peace of Mind:It is always worthwhile comparing prices. Consider whether any after-sales service is included in the price. Always check the small print. You should also make sure you know who you are dealing with. Check that the seller is who they say they are. Make sure you know their correct address. Take your time. Don’t be rushed into making a decision. Do not be swayed by offers of a good price only if you buy it quickly. If it is a good company and a genuine deal, it will be there tomorrow.
Is there a returns policy?
For goods bought in a sale, you have the same rights as normal, unless a particular fault has been pointed out to you in advance. For second-hand goods, you have the same rights as normal, unless
some fault is expected or has been pointed out to you.
Some traders have a ‘goodwill’ policy for returning unwanted or duplicated goods. If they don’t have a goodwill policy, you can ask if they will allow you to return the goods and have a refund of your money on this particular purchase, but you have to get them to agree to this. Remember, if goods are not faulty, the trader does not have to do anything. However, they may issue a credit note or exchange on a goodwill basis.
