Kevin Daniel began sketching family and friends as a very young man, never dreaming that his fascination with paints would lead to a lifelong profession. As his paintings brought more and more favorable comment, Daniel studied Renaissance masters in museums and books, perfecting his technique. A Minnesota native, he eventually began to paint animals and wildlife, using his camera to provide studies for his paintings. His finely detailed work brings to the viewer portraits of animals normally so remote as to be hardly ever seen.
